The PEEF – AJK Scholarship Program
The Govt. of the Punjab has provided a grant of Rs. 750 million for the establishment of AJK Educational Endowment Fund (KEEF). The purpose of the establishment of KEEF is to provide financial assistance / scholarships to needy and talented students of AJK to pursue higher level education. The proposed AJK Endowment Fund till, the establishment of the an Endowment Fund, will be managed and operated by the Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF).
The PEEF – AJK scholarship program program is being implemented within the geographical boundaries of AJK, comprising of ten (10) districts. However, with the increase in endowment fund and subsequent increase in income proceeds; the AJK domicile students residing outside AJK may also be included in the PEEF – AJK scholarship program ambit.
The scholarship program is implemented in following districts of AJK:
Under the PEEF – AJK Scholarship Program, it is estimated that every year 1,000 needy and talented students of AJK will get scholarships to pursue Intermediate, Graduation and Master's level education. The level wise allocation of scholarships is as follows:

Minimum Eligibility Criteria
1) Intermediate & Graduation Level Scholarships
A student must have:
i. Orphan Children
ii. Children of government servants in BPS 1 – 4 (both serving and retired)
iii. Children belonging to minority religion
iv. Special Children
v. The Children civilians martyred in terrorist's attacks
2) Master's Level Scholarships
The Master's level scholarships is awarded through the public sector universities of AJK. The prospective students fulfilling the below mentioned minimum eligibility criteria may contact the financial aid office of the respective university to apply for PEEF-AJK scholarship.
The students must have:
a) Students enrolled in spring/fall session (where applicable) and morning/ afternoon / evening sessions (where applicable) are also eligible to apply for PEEF-AJK Master's level scholarships
a) The Children of government employees in BPS 1 – 4 and Children of civilians martyred in terrorist attacks are exempted from income limit criteria if salary is the only source of income.
